Niantic Reveals Pokémon Go Fest 2025’s 3 Cities & Dates

Niantic shared the details on the upcoming Pokémon Go Fest 2025 dates and cities, but the global event date is still to be announced.

The wait is over for Pokémon Go players: Niantic just dropped the spicy news on this year’s upcoming Pokémon Go Fest. Pokémon Go Fest 2025 will take place in Osaka, Japan, Jersey City, New Jersey, and Paris, France. This sticks to their usual picks of having the event take place in one city each in Asia, Europe and the United States. Interested trainers can now begin to plan their international or domestic travel schedules.

Based on previous years, there should be at least one shiny debut during each in-person event in the three cities. In 2024, Emolga, Crabrawler and Ducklett made their debuts. If the festival follows the trend of previous years, we can expect some shiny debuts at the global event, including a pseudo-legendary that is sure to captivate attendees. Internet denizens noted that this year there is a high chance of the Frigibax family making their shiny debut. 2024 also saw the introduction of Dawn Wings & Dusk Mane Necrozma.

In addition to exciting shiny debuts, Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is expected to showcase legendary raids and revamped Egg pools. • Paris, France: June 13-15, 2025

Unfortunately for now, nothing has been revealed about the Pokémon Go Fest 2025 global event dates. However, players can expect to get details soon as previous years have done before. If we use context clues, Lumiose City is based on the City of Love and Pokémon Legends Z-A is meant to be released in 2025. With the final event happening in Paris, it is very possible for Kalos Pokémon appearing in Paris during Pokémon Go Fest. This is purely speculative, so we will have to wait and see what Niantic and The Pokémon Company say later on.

Despite the details being sparse on this major event, players still have the big spring gathering for Go Tour: Unova to look forward to at the beginning of March.
